Cattle respond to calm energy. We take time to earn their trust, moving them gently and giving them space to use their herd instinct. There’s no need for loud voices or harsh methods here. We divide our ranch into smaller sections, or paddocks, moving the herd as the grass recovers. With every move, we are tailoring the paddocks to meet the weather conditions, forage availability, and animal requirements in order to optimize grazing outcomes. This rotational approach gives every acre more time to rest and regrow, building deep-rooted grasses that hold moisture and carbon in the soil. Over time, the land becomes richer, more resilient, and better able to feed future generations of cattle and people alike.
