Hamburger Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Nurturing Acres Ranch, Grass Finished Beef
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condense cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- salt & ground pepper to taste
- 3 cups of peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Heat a large skillet over medium - high heat. Cook and stir ground beef until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease off if desired.
- Mix condensed soup, milk, onion, salt, pepper in with browned ground beef.
- Spray your baking dish with whatever cooking spray is your preference. Then place the potatoes in the bottom of your pan and pour the soup and browned ground beef over the top of the potatoes. Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake in preheated oven until the potatoes are tender, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and continue to bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve and Enjoy!
Notes:
- Feel free to experiment and season with your favorite meat seasoning. We personally like to sprinkle on some Jim Baldridge's Secret Seasoning or Cajun Seasoning to just add a little pizzazz.
- You can also add green beans, corn, or carrots for some vegetables.
- For busy life you can also do the same recipe but instead of putting it in a baking dish you can place in a crockpot and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
